Mississippi Department of Rehabilitation Services wants to ensure a safe and enjoyable hunting experience for all Mississippians this fall. We are committed to promoting responsible hunting practices to prevent accidents while hunting. Below you will find client stories from previous accidents, safety tips, and proper hunting equipment usage and maintenance.
Mississippi Hunters Safety Course
The mission of Mississippi Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks is to conserve and enhance Mississippi’s wildlife, fisheries, and parks, provide quality outdoor recreation, and engage the public in natural resource conservation. The Mississippi Hunter Education Program, administered by MSWFP is designed to reduce hunting and tree stand accidents, teach hunter ethics and responsibility, promote wildlife conservation, and teach firearm safety.
